The new United Airlines Business Class Offers can be the best that has happened to Air Travel

Not since the arrival of the bed bed, it has a business class offer more than a gamechanger.

Okay, this can only be true if you have a sweet tooth than me, but listen -you are crossing 38,000 feet, feet with your glorious recruit, full of gourmet dinner, when something absolutely glorious and unexpected, goes out in the corridor.

A carriage of Sundae ice cream! With all the decorations! On a plane! I rest my case.

United Airlines is famous for this particular miracle during the flight, which has reached the state of the icon among its passengers.

After the meal, the cart is approaching, offering to decorate its spoon of vanilla ice cream or chocolate with hot fudge sauce, whipped cream, chopped toasted almonds, m & ms and a cherry on top. If there is a better food experience on a plane, I didn’t have it.

New cabins

Last month, United Airlines unveiled its new United Interior, which includes sliding privacy doors for all business class seats and a new Studio Suite experience.

There are eight of the new seats in each updated cabin, located on the front of each business class section. They are 25 percent larger than standard business supply and offer even more privacy.

I flew from Sydney at the Standard Polaris service, here’s how it went down.

Suitcase

Like most business class offers, your ticket includes two free check bags, up to 32 kg (70.5 pounds) each, which is a challenge that I could not fulfill, with my fist 22 kg (48.5 pounds). You also have the right to Premier Access, which is essentially a priority registration lane and the promise of seeing luggage faster on the other side with the manipulation of priority bags.

Hall

Polaris customers also have access to United Polaris Lounges, where they are available (there are currently six, Chicago O’Hare, Houston Intercontinental, Lax, New York Newark, San Francisco and Washington Dulles). Don’t worry, if there are no Polaris Lounge on your departure airport, you will get access to a shopping lounge you choose.

I used the Polaris Hall in Lax. It has luxury shower rooms with Therabody products, a restaurant in the card (order the famous burger and paella cookie, even if you are not hungry, trust this) and in a lighter eating options. If you are already tired, there is a private rest area with day bed, soft lighting and white noise to help you rest and relax

The seats

Like many business class offers, the 1-2-1 stepped configuration means that each seat is a hallway seat, but the windows seats are definitely the group selection.

But not all window seats are created the same: to allow a complete experience of the lie, the seats are offset, with one that is right next to the window, the next one is closer to the hallway, etc. This causes 1 or 9L seats to be higher options, as they are the two parts of the respective cabin, closer to the windows and with more privacy and less disturbance in the hallway.

There was a lot of leg room, as expected, and top quality extras, including noise reducers, Saks Fifth Avenue bed clothing, premium toiletries and premium mattress toppers available (please tell me, who does not ask for a “ mattress cloud ”?).

Eat

In addition to the expected champagne on arrival, the meals were excellent on my flight. The main meal is an event, with heated nuts, a main one that you can pre-bar before flying (I chose roasted salmon with Hollandaise salad and pearl couscous), a mentioned bread and sundae.

Are you still hungry after the movie is over? They offer midnight snacks, including an extremely honeyed grilled cheese sandwich, available at any time and a refreshment bar you can help.

The application

It may be difficult to highlight in a saturated airline market where most offers are variations in the same, but the United application is where it really shines.

I have never found an aerial application experience so efficient and easy to use.

You can obviously plan and reserve using it, but once you arrive at the airport that reaches its own. My door changed, without worries, I received a notification. Boarding about to start? I also said that. At the flight, I was updated on the changes to our arrival time, and when I disembarked, I knew that my bag was about to go out on the carousel before it was visible.

There is also a terminal guide, food and seat options and delay and cancellation options, but they are real -time notifications, removing some of the stress and the uncertainty of the trip.
